On Friday at 0800, there was the most interesting match of all the round robin games. The game started a bit hectic, Espoo wasted several chances, but Pixbo took their one and got the lead in the 11th minute. Though Espoo managed to score in powerplay two minutes later, Pixbo could give an answer with the 2-1 goal again. At the end of first period there were some minor fights which showed impressingly how motivated both teams were in this game.
The second period started with chances for both teams, but it took Pixbo over eleven minutes to score again. In the 35th minute, Espoo had a great chance to score short-handed, but the ball hit the post. After that Pixbo catched a bad-played ball back to Ketonen and just needed to put the ball into the empty goal. Espoo could stand the next Pixbo powerplay, but just when Kirjonen stepped back on the rink Pixbo made the 5-1. Pixbo controlled the match in second period though the lead was too high now.
After 27 second in the final period, Espoo's hopes to win raised again when they scored the 5:2 goal. But again, Pixbo could answer shortly after that goal by scoring a goal. The game was more even-strengthed now, but another Finnish goal did not bring the Oilers back in the game. Pixbo decided the game by scoring three goals in four minutes. Espoo wasted too many chances to have a chance in that match, in which Pixbo did another impressive job.
