VfL Gummersbach - Frisch Auf Göppingen 27:23 (15:11)

After my first time German Handball Premier League in February, I visited the famous 19,000 spectator capacity "Kölnarena" in Cologne, to which I used to go as an ice hockey fan or to concerts as a spectator. In this great moment for me being accrediated there for the first time, the VfL Gummersbach hosted Göppingen, who were third last in the league.
After a weak start, Gummersbach controlled the game, took back the lead after being 0-2 back and lead after that all the time. Though they had some more weak periods, especially after half time break when Göppingen (which is in Southern Germany) just was one goal behind, Gummersbach was never in danger to loose the match.
