Switzerland - Finland 4:3 (1:2, 1:1, 2:0)

Playing in front of a new Swiss record of 5533 spectators, the Swiss team had to beat Finland in order to prevent playing Sweden in the semis. On the other hand, a tied match would help Finland to face the Czech team but Sweden in this match.
Maybe surprisingly, Switzerland put much pressure on the Finnish team from the first moment of play onwards. In first half they were not honored for that getting two goals but scoring just one. The second period was tied score of 1-1, so that the score was 3-2 after 40 minutes. In all this time, Switzerland was the better team, had many chances to score, but could not manage to put the ball inside the net.
After they wasted a penalty shot in 45th minute, Swizerland tied the score at 49:59. They still put Finland under pressure in a thrilling match. At 58:48, Switzerland took their goalie out of the rink and brought a sixth player. This worked: at 16 seconds to go, Christoph Hofbauer scored the 4:3 and made the incredible crowd which I suppose to be even louder and more cheering than the one at Floorball World Cup Final 2002 in Helsinki, start an incredible party.
Switzerland of course deserved to win this match, as they were the dominating team and fought an incredible fight. World Cup Final 2002 was called to be the best floorball match ever. I loved this match even more. A real incredible floorball fight!
